There are two routes to gaining accreditation with NALS:
1. Affiliated route - This is where a principal, partner or director of the firm applying to NALS is a member of a professional body eg. Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA), The National Association of Estate Agents (NAEA) or Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or a Registered Social Landlord (RSL).
2. Non-affiliated route - This is where the firm has no affiliation of any professional body.

The information documents highlighted * are designed for you to print out as they appear on your screen. The sample letters are also Microsoft word documents which you can download and modify with your own details.

Professional Indemnity Insurance Certificate* and sample letter to send to your insurer*
Accountant's Report* (applicable to firms trading for more than 12 months), NALS Accounting Standards and extract from RICS document
Accountant's Declaration* (applicable to firms trading for less than 12 months), NALS Accounting Standards and extract from RICS document
